Programme for Active Learning (PAL)
PAL offers Primary 1 and 2 students hands-on learning in arts, sports, and outdoor activities. Find out how these modules build character and social-emotional skills.
At our school, the Programme for Active Learning (PAL) is an integral part of our efforts to develop well-rounded students with strong social and emotional competencies. Targeted at Primary 1 and 2 students, PAL provides joyful and meaningful learning experiences beyond the academic classroom, laying a strong foundation for character development and lifelong learning.
Focus on Social-Emotional Learning
PAL is designed to nurture values, social skills, and emotional well-being in our young learners. Through collaborative and hands-on activities, students learn to communicate effectively, build positive relationships, manage emotions, and make responsible decisions — all essential skills in today’s dynamic world.
Modules Offered
Our school offers four enriching PAL modules, each conducted over a term and infused with opportunities for self-discovery, teamwork, and creativity:
🎨 Visual Arts : Encourages imagination and personal expression while promoting appreciation of different perspectives.
🎭 Performing Arts : Builds confidence and empathy through drama, music, and movement.

🌿 Outdoor Education : Instills a sense of adventure, resilience, and respect for nature through experiential learning.

🏃 Sports and Games: Fosters teamwork, perseverance, and a spirit of fair play in a fun, active setting.

Through PAL, our students grow not just in skills and knowledge, but also in heart and character — shaping them to be confident, caring, and collaborative individuals.
